Should it stay or should it go? Suspect most of what we store amounts to a deferral of decision making. And some trade offs. Oddly enough J has more really should keep (stored here - suitcase room definitely finite) items than I do but suspect that down in large part to his doing more than fair share of the food prep. Did you really want to keep the spurtle? Yes, I use it. (Spurtle obviously not something we brought from home or bought here - think it can be traced back to a freebie acquired with the purchase of a bottle of Drambuie a number of Christmases ago).

Thunder storm, complete with nearby lightning and tiny hail. Venera arrives in the middle of it with an armful of linen, prepared to change the bed - which is covered with the semi-packed. Her English not noticeably better than my Greek,  limited to the few words she needs for interacting with guests - mostly change [bedding], sorry [for any intrusion], and bye.  Tell her Κυριακή (Kyriakí - Sunday) and point vaguely into the distance. She gets it. Leaves extra toilet paper and garbage bags and doesn’t engage in pointless cleaning.
