To the South Bank to meet Jenny and Emma and Emma's little girls. Coffee (and juice for Jasmine) inside the National Theatre's big comfortable cafeteria cum listening space. Leila, aged nearly one, is very busy seeing how her cup works with and without its lid, paper napkins inside, etc. Jenny (and Doug) just back from a few days in Germany. Emma has just started back to work after maternity leave. Nice to chat.
In the evening to Kolossi Grill with Alexander and Flora. It's a Cypriot restaurant just south of angel tube station - small and friendly. share meze starters - very good taramasalata - and then lamb. Kleftiko melts in the mouth like butter. excellent. There's a painting of Kolossi Castle on the wall. Interesting as we were in the castle in January. Nice to be able to talk to A and F as well.
